Makesense offers professional support to all practitioners working with children and young people with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).

An estimated 1 in 10 children have SLCN which can lead to difficulties with learning, literacy, socialisation and behaviour. Thus SLCN overlap with other, more widely recognized special educational needs such as autism and emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Makesense training and consultancy is delivered by an experienced team of teacher and speech and language therapist. A multi-professional approach is vital in developing an understanding of the needs of these children and young people if real progress is to be made.
